I came to Rogate in 1973, looking for ‘sustainability’ at a time of international threat, to live close to nature with dogs, cats, chickens, vegetables, fruit trees, flowers and children.
I lectured in English, then had an administrative position in London, and finally I was director of a university research library in USA. I have always loved music—especially singing.
I am curator of the Rogate Heritage Centre and otherwise enjoy writing.
I was elected to the Parish Council in May 2015 and serve on the Planning and Open Spaces Committees. I campaigned for the National Park and as a councillor I hope to help implement its purpose to enhance the landscape, wildlife and heritage of Rogate.
