Landbuild Ltd, on behalf of West Sussex County Council will be carrying out road works close to your property soon and we are contacting you today to let you know what we are doing.

This is to provide improved pedestrian facilities along London Road, near Rake Primary School and at the Bull Hill/Brewells Lane junction area (The Flying Bull Inn).
The works will include new footway paving, kerbing, bollards, road markings and signage. There will also be traffic calming measures by way of new road markings and a 30mph speed restriction.
The works are due to commence Monday 4th October for up to 8 weeks. Our hours of work will generally be between 07.30am and 17.30pm.
Road Restrictions during the work – in order to protect our workforce and the public:
- The first phase of work will be at the Rake Primary School area and be under 2-way temporary lights.
- Multi-way temporary lights will be used for the rest of the scheme at the Bull Hill junction.
- Lining and road markings will take place at the end of the programme under rolling multi-way lights.
- Access to properties will remain in place.
- Vehicle access will remain in place – although we may have to make short term arrangements during material curing times.
- If you need access, please make the site staff aware and arrangements will be made.
